Expired .org domains with a past

Originally used for a German-language comparison site (based on the name "D-4A3DFE"), but in 2025 it was taken over and turned into a spam site for online casino/lottery (Togel4D) with obvious keyword stuffing in the page title.

Originally a Chinese Erlang developer community, consistently active from 2007 to 2014. After 2014, the niche began to degrade, shifting to a standard WordPress placeholder, then to domain parking, Chinese spam (casino), and blank pages.

Domain in Cyrillic/ideographs (xn-- prefix indicates IDN). Wayback history shows only empty pages and minimal content ("집 -" in August 2025, Korean ideograph). No stable theme can be determined — the site either never was a full content project or was cleaned before drop.

The domain started as an educational resource (D-62400B for art education, 2016), then switched to the PresentAsian App (2018-2022), and finally degraded into gambling in Chinese (lotteries/飞艇, 2024-2026). Three drastic niche changes in 10 years.

For nearly 20 years (2003–2023), the domain was the website of the Rotary Club of Lawrenceburg (local charity/community niche). In 2023, there was a sharp shift to an insurance niche (“Protecting Your Present and Securing Your Future with Insurance”), and since 2025 the domain has turned into a movie site, FilmGalaxy (movie tips and cast profiles). The niche changed at least twice, and the final niche (movies) is completely irrelevant to the historical link profile.

Throughout its history, the domain has not shown a stable live niche: from April 2024 to November 2025, cyclic 301 redirects and empty pages with no content are observed, with only a brief page title “Just and Holistic Adaptation” appearing in November 2025. The link profile (discrepancy between sources — 620 referring domains in Ahrefs vs. 66 in Majestic) does not match the organic development of a single niche.

Originally (2011–2014) the site was dedicated to the D-31784C Parish church in Dunedin. Starting in 2014 the niche was lost (page titles "Just another WordPress site", then simply "Home"), and the final version before the drop (2022–2023) is a spam page of an Asian gambling and sports portal in Chinese.

Originally a site about computer tricks, security, and hacking (2014), later shifted to tech news (2023). Between these periods and after — long stretches with empty page titles, which may indicate domain parking or spam pages.

Early on (2017-2018) the domain served 302 redirects, then from 2022 to mid-2023 it had minimal content under the page title "D-5EB136 -" and periodic "One moment, please..." placeholders. From August 2023 to June 2024 — a sharp shift to Chinese spam content for lotteries/gambling (飞行艇开奖记录). After 2024 — empty pages with no titles. Final active niche — outright spam, inconsistent with the likely organic backlink profile.

Initially (2010–2018) — an educational project D-FF39E7 / EQF meets ECVET; from 2019 — a switch to roofing services ("Roof Repair | Inspection and Roof replacement"); from 2025 — Chinese investment spam ("富联平台-靠谱的投资平台-点击进入"). The niche changed at least twice, and the final niche does not match the original.

Throughout the entire recorded period — Thai gambling/online slots: «dara168 สล็อตเว็บตรง API แท้ แตกง่าย จ่ายครบทุกบาท 100%», no niche changes.

The site was a Thai-language online casino (slots) for its entire existence (from July 2025 to January 2026); the niche did not change.

Domain registered in Korean with an explicit gambling/betting theme (도라에몽토토 = "Doraemon Toto" — bookmaker/lottery platform). The theme has not changed, but it is inherently a spam niche.

Domain was originally a Korean housing-themed site ("집" = house), but in July 2025 it was redirected to a bot verification page, indicating compromise or repurposing for a spam scheme.

Originally a French medical site about nontuberculous mycobacteria (MNT), it existed steadily from 2020 to early 2025. In October 2025, the niche abruptly shifted to Indonesian gambling (Unitogel).

Originally used as a gambling site (Chinese characters in 2014-2015), then a long period of empty titles and inactivity, after which the domain was revived in 2025 as a doorway page with Thai slots (online casino).

The only recorded niche is a Thai online casino (slots), which appeared in September 2025. History before the redirect in June 2025 is unknown; a niche change is possible.
